TuneClone
Simulates the Burning, Ripping and Encoding process with a virtual CD burner.
TuneClone is intended to remove the DRM protection from purchased music files. It essentially creates a virtual CD-RW drive on your computer and virtually burns the CD from the player (if it has Recording functions), and then TuneClone automatically converts them to a popular audio file format , so in a few easy steps you've got unprotected files that are easily transferred and played on any player or device.
It supports the most popular music file formats (OGG, WMA, AAC, MP4, M4P, MP3, etc.), no matter they are DRM protected or not, and outputs unprotected MP3, WMA or WAV format files. Also converts DRM protected movie files and various video files formats to unprotected files with CD quality.
Converted files have no DRM restriction anymore, but preserve their ID3 tags for artist, album, title names and artworks etc.
TuneClone's virtual CD burning can use the maximum writing speed, therefore, your files can be converted at a very high speed, even using batch mode. It is possible to convert any music format to MP3, WMA or WAV with TuneClone. The only requirement is that your media player software supports burning music files to CD drive. The only requirement is to select this virtual CD burner as the default burning device.
Pros
- Allows playing protected audio/video files in any player or device
Cons
